Still More Important Information for Parents to Share with Their Children

Daycare Providers
The change of address form is also utilized for daycare providers. Transportation will not be provided if the daycare provider's residence is in an ineligible zone from the home address. If the school office is not open, this form can be obtained at the Transportation Office or at the Family Resource Center.

Alternative Plans
Parents should discuss with their children what they expect them to do if they should miss their bus, or if a snow/emergency day is called. Plans should include emergency phone numbers, parent's work phone numbers, going to a neighbor's house or possibly hiding their own house key.

Septran
Some children, for a multitude of reasons, may be assigned to a Septran Suburban vehicle. The Septran vehicles in Rockford transport 2,300 students on 110 mini-buses or Suburban trucks. If you have any concerns about scheduling or behavior on Septran, call the Septran office at (815) 874-8999
