RPS 205 Wins 5 National Communications Awards for Excellence
The Rockford Public Schools communications department received nine awards – including five for excellence, the highest honor – this month from the National School Public Relations Association for work in publications and digital media.
This is exciting for our team, because we prioritize informing our families, staff, students and the community about news and stories from Rockford Public Schools. It’s also exciting for our staff, students and community, because the awards include featured work and stories from several RPS 205 staff members and graduates from the Class of 2020 – in their own voices – on the 205 VIBE, our multimedia platform.
NSPRA’s Publications and Digital Media Excellence Awards recognize outstanding education publications and marketing/informational materials (print and electronic), video/TV/radio programs, social media and websites. Keep scrolling for a breakdown of the awards in RPS 205, with a little information about the featured staff and students.
Congratulations to the communications department and to the contributors. And thank you to our readers, viewers and listeners for your continued support of the 205 VIBE. Follow the links to watch, listen and read, LIVE on the 205 VIBE!
