Jefferson High School Theatre Troupe Presents “Murder at the Art Show”

Jefferson students in “Murder at the Art Show”

Jefferson High School Theatre Troupe proudly presents their fall play “Murder at the Art Show.” Performances are 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 19 and Saturday, Nov. 20, and 1 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 21 in the Jefferson High School auditorium. General admission tickets are $10. Tickets for seniors, students with an ID and children are $5.

For many of the 41 students involved in the play – both actors and technicians – this is their first time being part of a play, and they have enjoyed the process. The students who have been involved in plays before are excited to get back on stage and perform in front of a live audience.

Actors attend rehearsals four days a week. They learn movements, memorize lines, research characters and learn how to show emotion. Technicians attend work calls at least once a week. They built a set, designed makeup, set up sound and lights, created props, and designed costumes.

Wondering what “Murder at the Art Show” is about? Check out a preview from the Pioneer Drama Service website.

Hope to see you there!
