Fred VanVleet plays professional basketball for the Toronto Raptors of the National Basketball Association (NBA). In the 2019 playoffs, the Raptors won their first Eastern Conference title and advanced to their first NBA Finals, where they won their first NBA championship. VanVleet is a Rockford native and 2012 Auburn High School graduate. He played college basketball with the Wichita State Shockers. His team made a final four run in the 2013 NCAA Men’s Division I Basketball Tournament.
