Mrs. Young at Rolling Green ‘Constantly Works Hard to Make Sure Learning is Fun’

“Mrs. Young is such a special part of my daughter’s day. I’ve never seen a child more in love with their teacher before. Mrs. Young teaches kindergarten, which if anyone knows kindergartners, well, that is a task in itself. 

I can honestly see how much she truly cares about her students inside and out. She constantly works hard to make sure learning is fun for them. She is creative, inspiring, unique, positive, reliable, the list could go on and on. She instills a passion for learning that I know is going to forever leave a footprint on my daughter’s heart. The kind of footprint that helps shape life choices and never ends. 

There isn’t a day that I don’t hear about where my daughter wasn’t empowered a little more than the day before. Aside from all the little things she does everyday, she does a weekly leadership schedule and weekly awards where they can show off hard work or prove themselves compassionate and helpful. She goes above and beyond to make sure her students know that she cares. One of my daughter’s favorite memories was when she came out to her dance recital to watch her perform her ballet routine. Something she will never forget. 

Mrs. Young is truly an amazing teacher that deserves all the praise, all the hugs, all the gratitude in the world. I’ll end this with Taylor’s words: ‘Mrs. Young, I love all of the things that you do for us. I couldn’t ever pick just one, because you do so much.’ ”
