A Message for Jefferson Seniors from Band Grandpa Jeff Layng

As a retired businessman who has enjoyed studying and performing music for most of my life, the RPS 205 Band Grandpa program has been a real pleasure for me. I volunteered to help with the band program at my alma mater, Jefferson High School. Coaching the students, encouraging them and working closely with Jefferson's outstanding band director, Evon Sams, has been very gratifying. I have missed the whole Jefferson band gang this semester and wanted to let them know by recording this short video message. I truly look forward to getting back to making music with the young J-Hawks!
