All-City Fine Arts Week: Take a Virtual Gallery Walk
Go on the Virtual Gallery Walk
In past years, the All-City Fine Arts Week Gallery Walk was celebrated by installing middle and high school student work at various locations in downtown Rockford. Friends and families were encouraged to follow a map to each gallery location to view student art while enjoying refreshments along the way. Instead of skipping the gallery walk this year, we wanted to find a way to be flexible and still showcase student artwork.
Not only does the website at the top of this blog post celebrate student work, it gives a glimpse into what fine arts classrooms look like during the pandemic. The Fine Arts department extends a huge thank you to all of the teachers and administrators who helped make this virtual event possible. We hope you enjoy the All-City Fine Arts Virtual Gallery Walk, and we hope to see you in person again for next year’s All-City Fine Arts Week!
