2023-24 School Year Registration

Online Registration for Current Elementary Families

Rockford Public Schools will pilot online registration for elementary students entering grades K-5 in the 2023-24 school year. This pilot is for students who are already enrolled in RPS 205 and returning for the upcoming school year. Families should complete online registration between June and August. We’ll share online registration details in May. 

All families will have the option to register online for the 2024-25 school year.

Middle & High School and Early Childhood

Paper registration packets will be mailed to current RPS 205 families with students attending Early Childhood programs, middle school and high school in the 2023-24 school year. Please look for those in May.

Address Changes

Moving to online registration will allow all families to update their home address online between June and August, too; look for more information in May. If you miss that time frame, visit your school’s main office (for middle and high school students) or the Welcome Center, 501 7th St., for Early Childhood or elementary school students.

New to RPS 205

Students who are new to the district must first enroll at the RPS 205 Welcome Center before they can register for the 2023-24 school year. Visit the Welcome Center at the RPS 205 Administration Building, 501 7th Street. Learn more and plan your visit: rps205.com/enroll
