School Quality Survey Begins: Share Feedback Through Feb. 24
Dear Parents and Guardians,
At Rockford Public Schools, we believe the best way to prepare your children for a complex world is to listen. That means giving you the chance to share your feedback and holding ourselves accountable when you say improvement is needed.
That’s why we want to hear from you in our School Quality Survey, which launched today. The survey asks for feedback on student and academic support, school leadership, safety and behavior, family engagement, and school operations. The survey includes questions regarding the district’s response to COVID-19.
Each school has a continuous improvement process to evaluate survey feedback, implement change and inform parents.
Two things you need to know this year:
- To minimize risk of spreading the virus, we will not provide paper surveys this year
- The survey window is shorter this year. The survey ends on Wednesday, February 24
As in past years, you may take the online survey from any computer, tablet, or smartphone. Please check your email for an invitation and survey link. You may also click the button at the top of this page. Links to the survey are available on school websites and RPS 205 social media. The survey is offered in Arabic and Spanish.
All responses are strictly confidential. We partner with independent research and communications firm K12 Insight to administer the survey and compile the results. Final reports will include only overall results. No one from the district will know if you participate or how you respond.
Thank you for your continued support of Rockford Public Schools. With your candid feedback, I’m confident we can continue making meaningful changes across the district.
