Tiana McCall to Represent Subdistrict C on Rockford School Board

The Rockford School Board has selected Tiana McCall to represent Subdistrict C in Rockford Public Schools. She will be sworn in at the Oct. 25 meeting. The board selected McCall after a special meeting and interview Oct. 18.
In her application, McCall described herself as, “An educational enthusiast, community energizer and influencer, and cheerleader for the city of Rockford, Illinois. I've proved to be an enthusiastic and experienced leader, a convener of community organizations and people, and a committed analytical person.”
McCall will replace Kamrin Muhammad, who submitted her resignation from the board effective Sept 30. McCall’s term will last through April 2023.
