Congratulations to the 104 RPS 205 middle and high school musicians selected by audition to participate in the Illinois Music Education Association (ILMEA) All-District Festival on November 21! These students are among the top school-aged musicians in Northwest Illinois.
The annual festival features top student musicians in concert bands, choruses, orchestras and jazz ensembles, with outstanding performers eligible for selection to Illinois All-State Music ensembles in January.
RPS 205 continues to grow its representation, increasing from 38 participants in 2024 to 61 in 2025 and a record-breaking 104 students in 2026! We are proud of our talented musicians and their hard work and dedication.
