Safety isn’t just something we talk about, it’s something we build together. That’s why, alongside community partners, we’re updating our attendance rules for all high school football games this season.
These changes are rooted in our commitment to making every game a safe, positive experience for our students, families, and fans.
Here’s what you can expect:
Bring Your School ID
Every student will need to show a valid school ID (either your physical badge or your digital SmartPass) to enter the game.
Participating Schools Only
This season, games are just for students from the schools playing that night. Keeping things focused helps us build a stronger sense of community and allows us to look out for one another.
Attendance & Student Conduct
Going to football games is a privilege and we want these events to be safe, fun, and welcoming for everyone. If a student is currently involved in a disciplinary situation or has ongoing behavior issues, they may lose the privilege of attending games.
Principals will let students know if this applies to them and share what needs to happen to get back in good standing.
Middle School Student Attendance
For the safety and enjoyment of everyone, middle school students should be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the entire game. We ask that families plan to stay together and enjoy the event as a shared experience, rather than dropping students off unsupervised.
Gate Closure Times
Gates will close at halftime of all varsity games. No entry will be allowed after the gates close.
No Re-Entry
Once you’re in, you’re in.
For everyone’s safety and to keep things running smoothly, re-entry won’t be allowed.
These guidelines are about more than just rules, they’re about caring for our community. When we all do our part, we create a game day experience where everyone can focus on cheering for their team, celebrating with friends, and being part of something bigger.
If you have questions or need more details, reach out to your school’s principal or athletic director.
Thank you for being partners in safety, community, and school pride.
Let’s make it a great season.
