RPS 205 honored outstanding students & staff during a Board of Education meeting, celebrating exceptional achievements in music and theatre.
The Illinois Music Education Association (ILMEA) All-State Student Program is a prestigious statewide honor. Thousands of students audition each year, and only those with the highest scores at the district level are selected. Being named an All-State musician means the student is recognized as one of the top young performers in Illinois. Participants rehearse with expert conductors and perform in high-level ensembles during the Illinois Music Education Conference in Peoria.

Theatre Recognition
The Illinois High School Theatre Festival All-State Production is one of the most competitive theatre honors in the state. Thousands of students audition each year for fewer than 125 spots. Students may be selected for acting, technical crew, or orchestra roles. Being chosen shows outstanding talent and dedication to the performing arts.
