National Gratitude Month

November is National Gratitude Month, a time to recognize the people who make a difference in our schools and community.

At RPS 205, gratitude is more than a feeling; it’s recognizing the people who show up for our students, support one another and help make our schools places where every student can learn and grow.

This November, Superintendent Dr. Larry Huff is sharing his appreciation for the staff members and families who play an important role in the success of RPS 205.

“Our district is built on the dedication of our people,” Dr. Huff said. “Every day, our staff members find ways to encourage students, support their colleagues and create opportunities for learning. I am grateful for the care and commitment they bring to our schools.”

From teachers and school leaders to bus drivers, nutrition services teams, custodians, office staff and countless others, every employee contributes to the student experience. Many of these efforts happen behind the scenes, but they make a meaningful difference in the lives of students and families.

“Thank you to our families for trusting us with your children and partnering with us throughout their educational journey,” Dr. Huff said. “Your encouragement, involvement and feedback help us better understand our students’ needs and strengthen our schools.”

Take a moment to thank someone who makes a difference. A few kind words, a note of appreciation or a simple thank-you can go a long way.
