Bloom Elementary hosted a block party today to celebrate the Walk-A-Thon. Students rotated through games, danced to music, and enjoyed snacks while families and staff joined in on the fun. It was a joyful way to welcome the new school year and wrap up the summer.

Dear Bloom families,
On Friday, September 26th, you're invited to the 2025-2026 Bloom Elementary Block Party! We are celebrating our Walk-A-Thon with the entire community and would love to have you come out to join us. We will have games, snacks, music, and more as we say goodbye to summer and celebrate what has been a fun and successful start to the 2025-2026 school year.
The party will be from 12:30 to 1:50 in the fields surrounding Bloom Elementary. Students will move through the different activities as a classroom. Along with this fun, we are encouraging our students to fundraise for the event. The money raised will go to the fun activities that our students will do throughout the school year. Our goal for the students is to try to raise $10 during our fundraising drive. Money will be collected through October 3, 2025. This will be run by our Bloom PTO, which plans numerous events throughout the school year and then is able to give back to the building and to the students. There will be all kinds of surprises at the event next week and we hope to see all of you there!
Thanks,
Kevin Finnegan

Dear Bloom Families,
We are so excited to get together as the Bloom PTO. Our first meeting will be this Monday, September 8, at 2:30 p.m. in Mrs. Walker's room. This is open to all parents and guardians of Bloom students as we look to plan fun activities and events for the students this school year. Our first big event is the Walk-A-Thon at the end of September and we would love your great ideas at this first meeting! Don't worry about childcare; you can bring your child along for the meeting.
Thanks,
Kevin Finnegan
