Hello Lane families!
Our October 31st Costume and Culture Parade will be weather permitting. Students will walk the sidewalk around the building for families to take pictures and cheer!
Please take the time to read the costume guidelines. These guidelines will help keep all students safe and ensure everyone has fun! If a student's costume does not follow the guidelines below, they may not be allowed to participate in the parade and or may result in disciplinary action in accordance with the district's Code of Conduct.
If you do not want your child to participate please inform Ms. Navarro via email. Please include your scholar's first and last name.

It's National School Lunch Week and today is Lucky Tray Day at all RPS 205 K-12 schools! Look for the lucky stamp under your lunch tray to win a prize. If you have a winning tray, bring your tray to the kitchen team to claim your prize. Good luck!

Rockford Rotary & RPS 205 kicked off its 24th year of Rockford Reads at Constance Lane Elementary! The program pairs volunteers with 2nd & 3rd graders to build literacy skills through weekly one-on-one reading. Volunteer trainings will be held on 10/15 @ 1 PM at the Rockford Public Library main branch & 10/21 @ 6 PM at the RPL East Branch. Questions? Email: facedepartment@rps205.com
It’s back! RPS 205’s Chicken Sandwich Contest returns! Create the most creative chicken sandwich for a chance to win a Nintendo Switch OLED & have your sandwich featured on the menu this spring! Turn in entries to your kitchen staff Oct. 14–17. Winners will be announced Nov. 17!
