
From farm to school: This year, Auburn, East, Guilford, & Jefferson will serve fresh and regionally-grown menu items from The Common Market. They work with farmers from across the area. Between August 20th to mid-September, we’re featuring Olden Organics from Ripon, Wisconsin. They’re providing broccoli, carrots, cucumbers, watermelon & cantaloupe for our students!

Screw City Steel has a new home at RPS 205! The Rockford Area Arts Council gifted the mural-covered steel doors to Auburn, East, Guilford & Jefferson High Schools. Honoring Rockford’s industrial roots, these doors now stand as symbols of pride, creativity & belonging.






If you need a sports physical for the 25-26 school year, OSF is conducting a clinic at Guilford tomorrow at 3:30pm. Enter the FH 10 doors. The physical form must be signed by a guardian prior to the physical being administered.

On June 6, 400 proud Guilford Vikings walked the stage at the BMO! The energy was electric as families and friends cheered on the Class of 2025. From the first bell to the final cap toss, this Viking crew made their mark. Congratulations, graduates!

Guilford Athletics has partnered with Rocket Alumni Solutions to help showcase past athletic accomplishments. We are currently building the site out now and are excited to put an interactive display near the main gym to display our rich tradition prior to next school year.

Cap, Gown & A Side of Sprinkles was a sweet sendoff for Guilford High School seniors! They celebrated with a donut party, paraded through GHS halls, then walked in cap & gown through nearby elementary and middle schools to inspire the next generation.











It was a big day of signings yesterday at Guilford HS! Six students committed to serve in the National Guard, Air Force, and Army 🇺🇸, while 13 students signed to launch careers in the construction trades. We are so proud of these students taking steps toward their futures!

Our high school Service Academy students in the Nutrition pathway ended the semester deliciously—presenting final projects with fully themed menus! From cultural cuisine to balanced meals, they showcased creativity, cooking skills, and nutrition know-how. Tasty and impressive!











BUILDING FUTURES: Today, Rockford Area Habitat for Humanity celebrated the houses built by East, Guilford & Jefferson High School construction students for families! Located off Sandy Hollow Road, these homes are the result of a year of hands-on learning in skilled trades.











Guilford High made history! Four GHS students became the first from the school to be accepted into the Awaken Foundation LC3 Apprenticeship Program. Designed for future trades pros, this milestone was celebrated with an official signing event. Congratulations!
