Teacher Appreciation Week runs Monday, May 5 to Friday, May 9. Teachers play a critical role in educating and shaping our children into the future leaders of our country. These kind, patient, hard-working, dedicated, and understanding professionals help mold our children and guide them in positive directions. Fifth grade teachers have the daunting task of preparing elementary students for middle school, but with the high expectations set in Mr. Reedy's class, students will be ready for the changes and responsibility. The entire fifth grade team at Brookview communicates effectively with the parents, while still holding the students accountable and responsible. She also created her own classroom currency for rewarding good behavior and encouraging work ethic.
