It’s a wrap for West View’s 5th graders! Their Moving On Ceremony kicked off with a hallway cheer parade, then capped off with a celebration in the school's gym with speeches, certificates, & a video that brought all the feels. See you in middle school in the fall!

Our fifth graders are wrapping up the school year in style — with a fun and colorful tie-dye celebration! They got creative, got messy, and made some amazing memories (and shirts!) to take home. West View Elementary celebrated success at its Students Who Excel Awards Ceremony! They honored growth in literacy, math, talents in music, art & PE, strong attendance, and outstanding citizenship. It was a great way to end the school year & recognize hard work and achievement!

Field Day is taking place at elementary schools across RPS 205! West View students are having a blast with limbo, duck duck goose, parachute fun, tug of war & more! Big thanks to our awesome teachers & volunteers for making it a day full of smiles!

Family Fun Day at the Sky Carp Game! Such a fun day celebrating the students who worked so hard to earn this reward by completing their reading log. Students got a free ticket to the game, they got to participate in a parade on the field, they got a free meal, and they were able to run the bases after the game. It was a perfect day to have some fun at a ball game! Thank you to everyone who participated!

First grade completed our CKLA unit on Animals and Habitats. Each class made habitat dioramas out of shoeboxes. They students loved learning about the arctic, the saltwater ocean, freshwater ponds, lakes and rivers, the desert, the grassland, the rainforest and the deciduous forest.
