The Gifted Academy is one of many special programs in Rockford Public Schools. Gifted Academy students participate in a modified curriculum. The program identifies and nurtures potential and meets the unique learning styles, interests, abilities and needs of gifted students.

Register now for the Winter Testing Event (Jan 31) to determine eligibility into the Gifted Academy at Thurgood Marshall Elementary, Thurgood Marshall School and Auburn High School for the 2026-2027 school year.
