For Earth Day Week, Miss Carla's class collected a big pile of boxes. They read the book A Box Can Be Many Things. They measured them to practice using different measurement tools while using problem solving and friendship skills. Today they made their boxes into robots.

Fun fact- The 30-million-word gap is a famous study suggesting that children from literacy-rich homes hear millions more words by age 4 than their peers, giving them a massive head start in school. Please try to read to your child each day for at least 20 minutes.
Thanks to the United Way Success by Six program, we are able to send home books each month to each child. In addition, they also provide bilingual books to all students in their native languages.
