The Golden Apple Foundation held its Guest Bartender Fundraising event at Ernie's Midtown Pub. RPS 205 educators & administrators were behind the bar pouring drinks & working for tips or selling raffle tickets. Funds raised will support teachers with classroom resources.









TONIGHT: Swing by Ernie's Midtown Pub from 4-7pm for dinner & drinks. A portion of purchases will go to the Golden Apple Foundation. Tip the RPS 205 guest bartenders very well! Proceeds support scholarships, grants, & recognition programs for teachers.

RPS students can ride RMTD buses all summer long for free! Students in grades 9-12 must show their school ID when boarding. No ID? No problem! You can get a RMTD student photo ID for $2 at the transit center on Mulberry Street if needed!

Whether you’re heading to camp, reading in the shade, or just soaking up the sun, make it count! Have a safe, fun, and relaxing summer break!

The Rockford School District is closed today in observance of the Juneteenth holiday. Come to Sinnissippi Park for a day of celebration. Check out the RPS 205 performers and talent show.

The first day of school is about 8 weeks away for the 26-27 school year. Here is our academic calendar as well as our start & dismissal times so that you can prepare and plan ahead.



Join us this Tuesday at 7 p.m. to honor our students, coaches, & staff during our school board meeting. Recognitions include state qualifiers for Scholastic Bowl, MS & HS Track & Field, Tennis, Fishing, Future Problem Solvers, State Scholars, Valedictorians & Salutatorians, & those that streamed graduation ceremonies. The meeting will be in the third floor boardroom at 501 7th Street.
