Middle school artists from across RPS 205 are teaming up with muralist Dustin Eckhardt to paint a student-inspired mural at Hillman Elementary! Over two days, students are bringing their creative vision to life as part of the All District Mural Project.
Marshall MS received recognition from PLTW as a 2024-25 Distinguished Gateway School. It recognizes U.S. schools for providing broad access to transformative learning experiences for students through PLTW Gateway programs, a grade 6-8 STEM curriculum.
Rockford Systems hosted Pathway Days for Roosevelt Community Education Center! Students explored local manufacturing, workplace safety, and career paths through demos, tours, and talks—highlighting how industry and schools build a stronger future workforce.

Last week, we celebrated 60 amazing student teachers at Prairie Street Brewhouse. With support from RPS 205 leaders, families, and cooperating teachers, these future educators connected with administration and gained insight into hiring and the road ahead.
Former student & author Devin Paladino returned to Lincoln Middle School to inspire students with his powerful story of resilience. From foster care to published author, Devin reminded students that no dream is too big—especially for kids from the 815!
